I have told this story over and over, because it never gets old. It was also one of the pivotal moments in my prayer life that caused me to realize just how powerful prayer can be. I manifested $1,000 cash money in as little as 24 hours, and my faith has been growing stronger ever since.
It’s extremely hard to hold onto faith in the beginning and stick it out to get the results you want in the end, because you don’t have anything to stand on. It’s only when you start to see things happening that you grow more confident in holding on the next go round.
I was knocked around by life, and my finances were ridiculously out of wack. I’m talking about being so broke that I was washing my underwear out in the sink, because I didn’t have enough money to go to the laundromat.
ALL of my bills were due, and my lights had just been cut off. Man! The Struggle.
I started stressing, but because I had been actively working on creating my experiences, I quickly caught and corrected myself.
I thought: There is no need to cry or stress over this. Something’s gotta give at some point. Get somewhere, get with God, and hold on until this thing is over.
“Yes ma’am”, I said to my daggone self.
I prayed. Then, I grabbed my journal, and started writing what I wanted to happen.
ALL OF MY BILLS ARE PAID IN FULL AND ON TIME.
Of course, after writing that sentence, knowing what was actually going on in that moment, my mind was going crazy trying to stay positive and focused on what was to come, rather than the situation I was currently experiencing.
I continued writing, focusing on some other areas in which I wanted to see change. Every time a negative thought would pop up, I would rewrite my sentence.
“ALL OF MY BILLS ARE PAID IN FULL AND ON TIME.”
When I finished writing, I went for a drive to clear my head, and to get away from the situation that was causing me to have negative or doubting thoughts. I made sure I returned home late enough to go straight to bed, so that I would wake up when the sun was shining brightly through the windows.
The next morning, I got up, and went about my business. Later on in the day, I checked my bank account and $1200 had been deposited. All I could do was cry and thank God. It was everything that I needed and more. I wasn’t expecting any money, and had no idea how I was going to get it.
That didn’t stop God from blessing me. I didn’t need to know how or why. I just needed to know that I had a need, made a request, and received more than enough.
I know I said “here’s how I did it” in the title, but honestly it wasn’t me. It was all God.
How You Can Manifest Your Desires Through Faith
The most important thing to note here is that you shouldn’t expect for things to happen the same way for you as they did for me. We are different, so our experiences will be different. You can manifest anything, as long as you truly believe that you can have what you want. If there is any doubt, you’ll know, because your desires won’t show up in your experience.
Here’s how you can get what you want.
1 Start with something that is on the level of your faith.
If you start with saying you’ll get $1,000,000 tomorrow, you might really believe that is outlandish, and it won’t happen.
2 Get very clear on what you actually desire.
Know what you really want, rather than just throwing something out there to see what you can get.
3 Say it and/or write it down as if it has already happened.
Saying or writing that you already have what you want makes it easier for you to get into the right frame of mind to visualize and to feel good about what you’re asking for.
4 Believe that you will experience it at some point.
Know that it doesn’t have to come immediately, but because you put it out there, it will come.
5 Let it go, and don’t worry about it.
Once you make your request, leave the rest up to God. He can and will handle it from there.
I’d love to know what things you are/have been manifesting. Share in the comments below.
